Community Site, Jambase, is Made Usable for its Members By Busse Design
Emeryville, CA 10.06 - 03.07 - Long overdue for a new user interface, Jambase hired Busse Design to restructure and redesign their site. A fully functional community site, Jambase brings live music information to its patrons. While completely interactive with user profiles, shows, articles, and tickets, none of the functionality was organized or intuitive for the user.
Busse began by deconstructing the whole site to get a better overall view of each page. The site map was developed and revised within a week. The document was an accurate portrayal of all the pages that the site would include, present and future.
Once all the pages and their flow within the site was established, Busse Design moved onto the layout and construction of each individual page. The UI wireframes established consistent navigation and content placement for each unique page throughout the site. A cleaner look and feel was created, incorporating the original color palette, bringing a fresh new feel to the site.
