Busse Design USA Helps Local Retailer Find the Right Identity
EMERYVILLE, CA - August 2004 - Santa Clara Systems located in Emeryville California approached Busse Design to undertake a complete redesign of their Corporate Website. The challenge was to appear trustworthy but not 'too corporate' while giving the site a touch of whimsy to reflect their personality as a company. The site also needed to encourage visitors to contact them for more information either via fax, phone or email as well as driving more business through google results by integration with search optimization techniques. They had a very distinct idea of what they wanted but had not been able to effectively portray that idea graphically using other firms they had engaged in the past.
Busse Design started with restructuring their website making the navigation clearer and more intutive for the user. We then created custom illustrations to create an image that was fun, yet created confidence within their target audience. Busse Design also worked with a search engine optimization company to strike a balance between searchability and look. The end result is a clean, professional yet approachable new website that reflects the personality, experience and reliability of Santa Clara Systems while also providing an easier to use and more intuitive interface for their customers.
