Challenge: LeapFrog's key differentiator from its competitors is that it is not a "toy
company." Rather, LeapFrog is the leading producer of educational products
that make learning fun and engaging for children spanning the spectrum of
birth through high school. To successfully convey the child development
expertise that fuels the LeapFrog spirit, it was essential that the new site
design maintain a steady balance between both the academic methodology and
the creatively playful inspiration that define LeapFrog and its products.
Busse Design USA worked with LeapFrogs's marketing & communications
teams to keep the tone and structure of site content in line with the
corporate brand and product strategy. Busse
Design established a consistent visual architecture for the site that could
be interspersed with graphic elements to infuse a sense of playfulness
without overshadowing LeapFrog's educational focus. Launched in mid October
of 2003, the new site clearly establishes LeapFrog as the leader in its
category and provides web site visitors with company, community, and product
information structured for easy access to the content that they
seek. |
