User Interface Development
Once the base architecture for the web site was established, Busse Design created a series sketches to explore layout options for individual pages. These UI Sketches assign a visual hierarchy to the page features and functionalities in context to editorial content. UI Sketches also serve to keep decisions focused on the physical layout of the page without the distraction of visual design preferences thus providing a better understanding of how the interface will be used. Again leveraging our Human Factors Task Analysis information, Busse Design crafted intuitive information structures for each type of web page.
To aid LeapFrog's internal implementation team, Busse Design extended the development of our initial UI Sketches into the creation of groups of Wireframes for each site section to account for all unique page types. LeapFrog's production team used our Wireframe sets to inventory content and to predict potential areas in need of extended development.
