Copy Development & Integration

In addition to refining the visual presentation of its web presence, LeapFrog also hoped to refine the voice used in its editorial content. Busse Design referred LeapForg to one of our editorial partners, and then managed the development process for all new and existing site copy. Because of the increased focused on the educational components of LeapFrog and its products, product copy had to be retooled to reflect new corporate messages with a unified consumer-focused voice. In addition to the large amounts of existing copy that needed attention, significant amounts of new copy needed to be categorized and written to satisfy new parent-focused site sections and reference tools.

In addition to managing the extensive copy generation process, Busse Design also developed and administered the schedule for copy integration. To facilitate LeapFrog's internal production efforts, Busse Design scheduled editorial handoffs at weekly intervals over two months to ensure smooth and timely integration on a tight timeline.
