Test Development
Sun Cobalt's needs required the development of two test plans. The first focused on the physical set up of the Qube and the accompanying basic installation wizard. After this test was conducted, we were able to develop a quick start poster that we could then test in the second scenario. The second scenario included testing a draft of the poster for physical set up and the installation wizard, as well as a detailed exploration of the Qube's administrative application. This test outlined a series of configuration tasks within the administrative application for users to complete.
Development of the overall test plan included creation of pre-qualifying questionnaire for screening potential test subjects, the testing script and a post-test response form. The testing script was comprised of several elements: product and task scenario descriptions, task outlines and related questions and a task observations form.
