DG Systems delivers advertising spots to TV and radio stations based on complex orders from their clients. For years the orders were placed via fax or entered into software that required special training. The overhead and chance for error were high, so DG engaged Busse Design to help them automate this order-entry process. Starting with a contextual inquiry of existing customers and interviews with internal users, we developed a new, streamlined web-based user interface. The interface allowed users to create very complicated orders with a clear understanding of which spots were going to which stations.
